Austin wasn’t so bad. Lightyears ahead of Houston, where Uber’s deathmobiles might be an improvement since they only accidentally hit people.

I was there in 2013-2014, so admittedly things could have fallen apart since, but I’d say better than Houston, better than Boston, and better than New York.

Well, that wasn’t the worst time. Definitely depends on the time of day, and which roads.
But having lived, worked, and driven in all the above places: Austin’s still the worst, by a long shot.
